The Garden Therapy Department met seven times during the Cape Fear Garden Club 2018-2019 calendar year. Meetings were held on the first Monday of October, November, December, February, March, April and May at Elderhaus at Greenfield Lake. Simple projects were completed with the clients of Elderhaus sun catchers in October; fall wreaths in November; coffee cups for Christmas; centerpieces in December (which was a shared event with the Harbour Island Garden Club); Valentines in Februry; Leprechauns’ pots of gold in March and egg wreaths in April.
In May we planted three waist high raised beds on the patio. We averaged thirteen garden club members at each meeting.
